Roger Zhang

Roger is a Finance Build Fellow at The Build Fellowship, where he works with students leading projects in financial analysis and investment evaluation.

Roger works at Persimmon Systems, a startup he co-founded to help U.S. and European clean tech and hardware manufacturers better tap into diversified, robust industrial supply chains. He focuses on structuring supply chain solutions tailored to early-stage manufacturing startups.

Roger has over 3 years of experience in the finance and energy transition field. He began his career at Hillhouse Investment, where he worked as an investor on manufacturing and energy transition startups.

He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Harvard University.

A fun fact about Roger is that he once built a working data scraper to estimate the real-time sales of a coffee chain — just to help make an investment decision.
