Petr Miko

Petr Miko is a Finance Global Talent Fellow at Open Avenues, where he works with students leading projects in Finance.

Petr Miko is a Financial Analyst at Amentum Services, where he assists the FP&A Team with month-end reviews, presentations, and forecasts. He also assists with monthly and quarterly close processes in collaboration with the Accounting Department. He conducts financial analysis and reports to support business operations and decision-making processes. He monitors budget performance, identifies variances, and recommends corrective actions. He collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial models and automated solutions.

Petr has one year of experience as a Financial Analyst.

For his prior experiences, Petr was an Intelligent Process Automation Intern, where he acquired practice experience with machine learning and robotic process automation. He was also a Teaching Assistant for a Corporate Finance class during his studies, where he gained exposure to an academic field. Petr holds a degree in Accounting and Finance, specializing in Data Analytics. A fun fact about Petr is that he enjoys caring for houseplants but somehow managed to play competitive Ice Hockey for over 20 years.
