Xue (Zoe) Jiang

Zoe Jiang is a Mechanical Engineering Global Talent Fellow at Open Avenues, where she works with students leading projects in Mechanical Engineering.

Zoe Jiang is a Research Scientist at Spear Bio where she works on developing and optimizing workflow and platform of ultrasensitive immunoassays using SPEAR technique.Zoe Jiang has more than 9 years of experience in developing
point-of-care medical devices using lateral flow immunoassay or electrochemical biosensors, microfluidic devices as well as fabrication and design of microneedle arrays for human dermal interstitial fluid sampling.

Before joining Spear Bio, Zoe Jiang has worked at Michigan State University as undergraduate research assistant, and graduate research assistant focusing on development and fabrication of wearable skin patch for detection malaria
PfHRP2 in dermal interstitial fluid (ISF). After graduated from her Ph.D. degree at MSU, she joined Rice University, and had worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for almost 3 years focusing on development and fabrication
of human dermal ISF sampling device and wearable skin patch for protein detection in human dermal ISF.

She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Two fun facts about Zoe Jiang: 1. She loves hot pot and can have hot pot every day.  2. Her favorite dog breed is French Bulldogs.

Pranav Meshram

Pranav Meshram is a Mechanical Engineering Global Talent Fellow at Open Avenues, where He works with students leading projects in Mechanical Engineering.

Pranav is a Program Engineer at Vistech Manufacturing Solutions where he works on automotive tooling and equipment, including concept, design, fabrication, and mass production product launch. He also supports commercial activities
regarding process concept, tooling/equipment costing, andcustomer technical reviews.

Pranav has 4 of years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. He has also worked on nuclear reactors and assisted in development of tools for cleaning cooling channels.

He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

A fun fact about Pranav: Holds the record for best time at five different escape rooms.

Luca Entremont

Luca Entremont is a Mechanical Engineering Global Talent Fellow at Open Avenues, where he works with students leading projects in Mechanical Engineering.

Luca is a Mechanical Engineer at a well-known tunneling company where he works on designing tunnel boring machines for underground projects.

Luca has 4 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Luca had partaken in multiple international science competitions and participated in student engineering teams before starting his job in Austin, Texas.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

A fun fact about Luca: he participated in classical dancing competitions in his youth and is officially forklift certified in Switzerland

Kishan Koradiya

Kishan is a Mechanical Engineering Fellow at Open Avenues where he works with students leading projects in medical device design.

Kishan is a Product Design Engineer at NIRSense Inc where he works on developing next-gen wearable sensor systems to measure cerebral and somatic oxygenation.

Kishan has over 3 years of experience in medical device product design and development, having previously worked on multiple FDA Class II devices.

He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

He likes to explore the outdoors.

Gabrielle Coseteng

Gabrielle is a Mechanical Engineering Fellow at Open Avenues Foundation.

She has 3+ years’ experience in the renewable energy industry. She is currently a Senior Analyst at Clearway Energy Group, a renewable energy developer. Gaby has worked across many energy technologies including solar, storage,
and wind. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Fred Hamlin

Fred Hamlin is a Mechanical Engineering fellow for Open Avenues where he delivers student projects based around medical device development.

His full time employer Cambridge Consultants is a product development consultancy working with a variety of blue chip companies and promising startups to deliver engineering solutions across drug delivery, life sciences, smart
implants and medical robotics. Fred has 9 years of experience in the field as well as holding a masters in mechanical engineering and a PhD in experimental aerodynamics.
