Mathilde Øllgaard-Ussing

Mathilde is a Business Management Build Fellow at Open Avenues Foundation, where she works with students leading projects in business management.

Mathilde is the Head of Marketing at koodos labs, where she focuses on designing, launching and executing growth marketing strategies alongside her team.

Mathilde has over 5 years of experience in the marketing field. She has previously worked at BeReal (most downloaded app in 2021) and at EF Education First.

She holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management from the University of Warwick.

A fun fact about Mathilde is that she loves to travel – in 2024, she was on a plane every 4 days in average.

Nani Detti

Nani Detti is an International Business Build Fellow at Open Avenues Foundation, where she works with students leading projects in international business.

Nani is an Associate at KRL International, where she provides strategic advisory services to both private and public sector clients working in Africa. Nani has over extensive background covering and working on a wide range of issues focused on Africa. In 2019, Nani Founded Misale Initiative, a non-profit organization in Ethiopia that provided mentorship and career development support to university students and recent graduates. She ran the organization until 2023.

Nani holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College. Nani is originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Brad Menachemson

Brad Menachemosnis a Business Management Build Fellow at Open Avenues, where he works with students leading projects in Capital Raising and Financial Management.

Brad is a Director of Business Development and Strategy at Stylenations Inc. where he focuses on System Optimization, External Stakeholder Management, Financial Management, Process Development and Capital Raising.

Brad has over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality/ Leisure and Business Management field. As a Highly skilled entrepreneur who has founded 6+ business both domestically and international as well as successfully exited 2 of those business brad is well versed in what it takes to build and scale a company. Sitting on many advisory boards as well as founding an organization that mentors, invests and educated women entrepreneurs globally brad has his finger on the pulse of many capital markets. In his current role brad is bringing g his vast experience to this mid-size business as it scales to a larger corporate entity.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Leisure Management and Business

A fun fact about Brad is that he can cold plunge at 40 degrees for 5 minutes

Kurt Edwards

Kurt Edwards is a Business Management Build Fellow at Open Avenues, where he works with students leading projects in Sports Business Mangement.

Kurt is a Girls Soccer Operations Lead at New England Force, where he focuses on the strategic management and growth of the girls’ side of New England Force soccer program.

Kurt has over 3 years of experience in the Sports Business Management field. He has previously completed progressive internship programs with Community Athletic Solutions, with placements at youth sports organisations.

He holds a Masters Degree in Sports Business, Management and Policy as well as a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering.

A fun fact about Kurt is that he loves anything to do with sports, and has become a huge fan of Boston sports over the past few years.
